• There is no discernable difference between data and blank space when you look at the reverse of a 'pressed' CD, but on both a CD-R and CD-WR there is a slight colour change that denotes each. Why is this?

  agentju90: it's probably to do with the gell/dye they use in home makable disks. they don't want you adding to a copywrited cd. they burn directly onto a thin foil, not onto a die/gell. this foil cannot be ... show
