Is there something socially wrong with you if you find Railways interesting?

I ask because I don't meet stereotypical norms for such an interest. I don't collect loco numbers etc though....

I often find if you look too in awe of something like a steam train or a disused underground station and use words like cool then this attracts abuse or strange looks!

With me, it's very much a case of 'whatever floats ya boat', and I wouldn't even think there was anything wrong with you.

What I'm intrigued about, is why you think there should be something wrong lol..

Supplement?

No, not in my opinion.

I must say that I am not really that interested in the railway system myself. But, What a feat of engineering.

As my granny used to say "Everything in moderation"

Nothing wrong with finding something interesting....if it becomes obsessive then you need to think about what you're doing...but from what you've written I don't think there's an issue.

Unless someone has said something to you!

As an avid railway traveller I would obviously say "no." I had a railway holiday in India a few years back and it was fantastic, but a word of warning - keep the posters to a minimum!
