A really awful watch, by my son. He proudly told me it was a bargain, and that it was only £6 out of Tesco. LoL

It was HIDEOUS, but I had to wear it, until the accident, (if you know what I mean.) I had to pretend to be really upset that it got broken. The thing is, it took several accidental hammer blows to do it!

When I was about 25, I was given a bright red jumper from my grandparents. On the front of it was big fluffy sheep which had been sewn on to it. It clearly wasn't a present suited to an adult but I couldn't hurt my grandparents feelings by telling them that I would never wear it. So I kept it for a while and then gave it to a charity shop.

My Mum got me a huge remote control car last year. She had got me a Scaletrix and a remote control car in orevious years, both of which have languished in the attic. Last year I decided to say something. I said that I wasn't into that sort of stuff so she took it back and got me some HMV vouchers instead I think.

Having a birthday close to Christmas I get lots of joint presents. I'm 30 this year so god knows what crap I'll get. I hate to sound ungrateful but maybe if people took some time to get to know you better these mistakes wouldn't occur....

I hate smelly sets im not girly and they rot with dust in the bathroom for years then i finally throw them away.

I will tell someone what i want if they ask and i always make my presents go from cheap so everyone can afford something if they choose to give me a gift.

Ive been given loads of crap over the years i have even given iot back two or three years later to the same person who bought it for me!
How wrong is that LOL
