At the very worst it would cause you to pass out, but that's sheerly on the fact that the bowel is a highly pressurised environment and a sudden loss of that pressure throws the rest of the body into chaos. You could well throw up too. That's why full-blown stomach upsets and the like are so unpleasant, and make you feel light-headed.

The coughing part of this equation is irrelevant, and no, you can't IMplode if you're letting air OUT of both ends now can you - that's just too basic for words. You've been conned.

It annoys me intensely when these apparent teachers tell students all manner of rubbish like this that has no basis whatsoever, and at least if they were messing around, they should set the students that can't grasp a concept properly, straight.

I'm not the be-all-and-end-all of intelligence but if that's what teachers are gonna do for the kids, there's no hope...

I think we will never find out because people that have exploded that way have been totally disintegrated. Most people you don't know or see have gone that way, and nobody infoms us.
At a seccond thought: No!

I don't think an implosion will happen, but something to that effect. While you are urinating and if you then start farting (assuming you are male), you will see visually the reduction in hydrostatic pressure as confirmation to your teacher's theory. lol
