That's fine if you have a home to exchange. Lots of people I know swear by it.
But if you don't have a property to swap, the best places are the back pages of the national press - the Daily Mail for example - as a paper it's not my cup of tea but it has specialised in attracting holiday advertisers and you'll find loads of internet bucket shops - ring around.
