how can i improve my karma

i have always beleived in karma and tried to be a good person thinking that good things would happen to me (just summing it up quickly) but i heard on the radio that your personality and what type of a person you are effects it too. such as angery people get stuck in a circle and find it hard not to lose their temper. this worries me because I can be a sad person. dont get me wrong I want tobe happy and have a laugh with frinds ect.... but i get down an feel sad and would describe myself as a sad person. never happy unless i have something to be sad about my friends and family say jokingly. so is that my cycle? am i stuck with this feeling. or is there ways to change.

To improve your Karma, the best way is to remove bad karma from your life, if you have a friend that is always negative or always has problems, they will be bringing bad karma into your life, just try spending time away from them to see if your life improves. You might want to consider perminately keeping away from them if it does. Also if you have done something bad in your life, you have to do something good to cancel out that bad thing & that bad karma. There is a TV show called My name is Earl & he trys to cancel out the bad things he has done to improve his karma

Perhaps less to do with Karma and more about psychology. Can you keep a diary and think about your life history from an emotional point of view? Try to find out what sort of things make you sad, especially events from your past. Try and deal with them, because if you just don't even think about them, that sadness will stay with you and you won't know why. Also, change your surroundings if you can. A beautiful place to live with lots of nature around can really beat depression. If you can't move, at least try and get yourself somewhere beautiful once a week. (The ocean works best for me when I'm blue, but there are mountains, lakes, hills, waterfalls, etc. that do it too)

Take a peek at this site...maybe it can help a little?

Oh yes, and don't worry about it for your friends' sake. You're not here for their benefit. It's about you.
