Do you think that Lewis Hamilton (F1) could be the new Schumakker?

This is the 2nd race of the new F1 season, and he as come 3rd in the 1st race and now 2nd. Do you think he go far, or just beginners luck? I must say he does drive very well, and have taken some very good risks.(sorry about spelling but am old and tired.)
Button doing badly this season, but i think thats mainly down to the car again. what do you think ?

I don't think Button has anywhere near the natural driving instincts of Lewis Hamilton but we have to be so very, very careful.

Andy Murray continues to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory and if we continue to over hype all of our up and coming Sports Stars than there is the danger that none of them will ever be fit for purpose!

its early to compair anyone to schumacher. he was a class apart.
when he first went to ferrari they hadnt won for a while and the car broke down to often.
he turned that team around with his driving ability, not afraid to mix it and his determination was there for all to see.
hamilton is good i agree, the way he has handled the pressure so far is great for one with so little F1 experience. but he has a good car, mechanics, team help and most of all a world champion there to help him.
i think he will go far, as for being the best ever i dont think anyone will be as good as schumacher, given his positions of 1st 2nd or 3rd against the no. of races he had.

I think Alonso has already proved he is a worthy successor to Schumacher

He's making a good start. Whether he'll be a new Schumacher is far too early to say.
He's a good driver in a good car. But then Alonso is too and I think he's already proved himself to be a successor. I just hope no-one becomes too dominant like Schumacher was at times because it makes the competition stale.

Just for comparison, I would like to see Button in an Maclaren to see what he can do.

If Hamilton was driving for one of the lesser teams, he would be nothing. As it were, he was lucky to get his break with McLaren and their cars are pretty nippy.

IMHO, Lewis Hamilton is the best driver that F1 has EVER seen, he's just won his first race after just 6 starts, and is already on the way to winning the World Championship in his first season.

Jenson who(over 100 starts before his first win)? LOL, I must admit Honda do appear to have gone backwards this season, or maybe it's just everyone else moving faster. Super Aguri, however (Honda engine) did superbly on Sunday.

I must stop rambling now.

BTW, sorry I'm a bit late on this one.
