Probably a wasted question but.... Any IQers going to the Carter reunion gig?

http://www.carterusm.co.uk/ copy

A one off gig, tickets not on sale until Friday but Jimbob e-mailed my mate and we got a pair beforehand.

Nice venue, just don't feel that safe walking to it. Are there any decent pubs by the Academy or should we have a beer elsewhere beforehand between Paddington and Brixton?

Send me a ticket and a ticket and I will come over. Only have to be back at work on Saturday night, surely I will manage that???
Just all put some dosh into a kitty for the poor relation across the Chunnel...
And - I could guard you walking there, have been through mine-fields, so Brixton should not be a prob!

Cool! We used to go to a club in New Cross (S.London), and their tracks always went down a storm.

"The gypsies, the travellers and the thieves
The good, the bad, the average and unique
The grebos, the crusties, the goths
And the only living boy
in New Cross"

Haven't been to the BA for ages, but I seem to recall that there are a number of not-unfriendly pubs in the immediate area.

Their album 'Starry Eyed And Bollock Naked' was a classic!

(Let's see if this gets modded)

I don't think they'd recognise me, it's gone very grey in recent years. Looks more like the John Major 'Spitting Image' puppet. "More peas, Fern?"

Wish I had an answer really, I'd like points in the "Londons finest" tag.

I thought points in 'unstoppable sex machine' would be more up your street! LOL
