No, the party system is not only open to abuse, it's out of date.

Manifesto's ought to be law to put an end to useless election promises that turn to dust as soon as the winners get in.

Career politicians should be banned and MP's limited to serving a maximum of 10 years.

There is no reason now why MP's cannot get votes on issues directly from their constituents by website, text or paper ballot.

And finally the system in the UK is nothing more than a parish council. All real law comes from Brussells...an unelected bunch of Eurocrats that seem to answer to nobody.

You could probably do away with the UK parliament for a few years and there would hardly be any difference.

The machine of government has already changed and it's changing further. Apathy has let them get away with it and we have only ourse;ves to blame.

But as I said, if it didn't exist the sun will still come up tomorrow. But the turkeys are not going to vote for christmas are they?

No im not satisfied and i dont like the way we ask these people to represent us and for major decisions like going to war or Entering the EU we dont get a say on.
I think we are now so distrusting that even if a compleate stranger said vote for me im honest and i will do everything you want me to and listen to what you have to say and act on it we wouldnt believe him/her
