Could the lack of questions here be due to facebook now having a chat facility?

The lack of questions is more a lack of good marketing on the part of Lycos, the difficulty of the format, the manner in which questions are answered and the proportion of members who actually ask questions to the number that answer.

HND is right - particularly about the ratio of Q suppliers to A suppliers.

It is always easier to have an opinion or knowledge and answer a raft of questions.

Formulating worthwhile Q is a different kettle of kippers.

Most of my questions I can find answers to myself easily enough so don't post them as questions. Maybe I should just to give people more to get their teeth into.

I suppose that is a way of feeding the medium that I get pleasure from.

I think P-Kasso has made a good point. Most people become a litle better at finding answers around the web for themselves as they become more computer literate. ( I am myself a good example of this). I used to worry in case I damaged the defaults and things or lost information etc. Now that I am more confident at looking around the web I am able to find out more information for myself.
