Facebook are to open a new branch of their services for religion called Faithbook but with all the religious conflict in the world is this such a good idea or a wave of healing cultural differences?

If people want to be narrow minded bigots then that is a part of them and not their religion. They will always find some excuse to be that way.

It is one of the sad things in life that the majority of the world religions preach peace an harmony and yet that has been subverted by so many to do the opposite and so much harm.

Well, on the face of it it sounds all warm and fuzzy, but as CGA says, there's a whole lot of folks that won't subscribe who will continue to poison the world while proclaiming their faith.

Sounds like an okay idea. Anything to get religious types to open their minds and tolerate others is good in my book.
