5th place goes to,,, Augie March!
And that's hard to admit because just a year ago they held first position!
At number four, Ladies and Gents we have a tie...The Arcade Fire AND David Bowie!!!!
Third place, Please welcome..The White Stripes!
Second Place, The one..the ONLY...Jimi Hendrix!
And coming first
Please hush in reverent silence for the BEAUTIFUL
JEFF BUCKLEY!!!!

Thank you all for coming tonight

And of course this will probably all change in a couple months time.

Supplement from 07/23/2008 09:16pm:

No no no non no no
I knew I was forgetting someone important. Kings of Leon have to be in there. I think I'm sadly going to admit that Augie March have to be moved out of the top five. I hope Spidey doesn't see this because I remember him arguing that Kings were better...but I hadn't really gotten into them yet.

Hmmmm... I shall have to go with the five I listen too most although quantity doesn't equal favourite.

In at five, they have afros and don't want you to mosh, it's At The Drive in.

Fresh at four, his dad was a revolutionary scientist and it has messed him too much.... it's Eels.

A non mover at three, they're Essex boys who've had a silly tiff it's Blur.

They're the new cast of Dad's Army, it's the Stones at two.

Celebrating a new album and a commanding lead, at one it's Weezer.

Just before the number one on this Sunday evening let's recap those top five greats;
At number five, close personal friends of mine and untiring work for charidee...it's The Quo.
Second week at number four for those quieter moments it's David Grey;
At number three, music to redecorate to with Outkast;
Squeezing number two is Fatboy Slim;
And for the ninth consecutive week, Britain's number one is Queen.
I'll just talk over their intro as you're trying to record this from the radio, then taking us to news at the top of the hour will be Bachman Turner Overdrive...let's rock.

Good to see so many Hendrix fans. I wonder when that Biopic is coming out. It's been in development hell in Hollywood for at least 8 years.
