What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever to you happened on a first date?

I have one, but I will clean it up the best that I can. On my first date with Mrs. WF, she, at one point during the date, wanted a cigarette and proceeded to go into her purse for one. In the midst of her fumbling around, a...well I will just call it a 'pocket back massager' fell out of her purse and started dancing around on the ground in front of me and about 20 or 30 strangers. Can you top the embarrassment level of that?

Please pardon my unnacceptable grammar on this one. I think I had a mild case of the stupids for a brief moment.

I was around 24 at the time and took this girl who had just turned 18 into a pub for a drink. On returning from the bar as I put the drinks onto the table and sat down I managed to knock her drink over which ran off the table over her legs. She was wearing a trouser suit and on impulse went to wipe her leg.

She quickly said that there was no need to have knocked the drink over her if I wanted to touch her legs.

My first thoughts were of severe embarassment my second was different!

I arranged, through a third person, a date with someone I fancied. I met up with her, and I don't think we spoke more than ten words to each other all night. I did get a snog, though. When I phoned her up subsequently, she pretended to be her sister, so I gave up the lost cause. I was just young and desperate for female company, and now I know better.

ive never admitted this before because its a painful memory, but there was this gorgeous guy i really fancied so i managed to get his mobile number and text him with my best chat up line. he told me he text me back and said he really fancied me too and we arranged a date. I spent a fortune to make an effort, hair, makeup and nails done at a salon and a shiny new out fit. I was early for the date and watched him walk in, almost drooling, but i noticed he didnt come over to me. i approached him and said i was really happy he came and he said "sorry i though i was meeting somone else" and then he left.
