Hello again! I only joined up today, after my shift had finished. Someone my sister knows "invited" me, and it has already made me miss "The Simpsons"! Tempus Fugit - time flies. It certainly seems to on here! I would watch that your partner doesn't feel a bit left out - I lost a boyfriend because he was constantly on the computer, I just couldn't compete!

It's horrendously addictive! I find the same with the PS2 - if I start a game, I just have to play every possible hour I can. The unfortunate side to this is that there is no end to knowledge, so we could be here for some time more...!

Doesn'y really bother me, can take it or leave it, not...
I've looked up your profile Tara (no law against it!) and you've answered 377 questions. I've answered 2604 so who do you think is the most addicted.
I am probably here for in excess of eight hours a day.

Sometimes I even forget to check my emails, when was the last time you checked yours?

The internet great way of avoiding partners, and kids, it also great way of avoiding life!
I have to say once I am on I find it hard to switch off, but we woman can multi task you know.....so I do interact with the rest of the household, like when they ask if I want a cuppa but when it suits me I just switch straight back off.
My hubbie moans if I'm on here and moans if I'm not because then he can't watch his crap on TV. So I can't win!

I actully make alot of use of my time online.

As well as being on this site....

I am a volunteer for various projects relating to census records and birth, marriage, and death records. I have been known to help people research their own family tree when they get stuck. I am in contact with people from all over the world who have genetic roots in my area.

I search freebies, vouchers and samples and enter online comps that I know I have a shot at winning.
I also make money while I am online doing market research, as I said I multi task!

Sorry Tara got side tracked on your question. Here is a great download for post-it-software notes that have a built in alarm , which is great if you tend to lose track of time. Just got to remember to write yourself a note and set the alarm!

Nothing wrong with learning more and helping others. See if you can get your partner interested. Perhaps he will get addicted too!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. This site is REALLY addictive. It should have a health warning. But I love it
